A GuitaristKen concert brings together three musical worlds:

CLASSICAL

Bach, Baroque and classical repertoire, historic composers and the guitar's musical heritage.

ORIGINAL

Original music from Ken's growing catalog of acoustic guitar instrumentals, including fingerstyle and relaxing melodic compositions.

FAMILIAR

Beatles, American music, folk and traditional melodies, Chet Atkins/Jerry Reed, and other pieces audiences recognize and enjoy.

The result is a varied concert that moves easily between the familiar and the unexpected.

 

Concerts begin with The National Anthem

Ken opens his programs with a performance of The Star-Spangled Banner, inviting the audience to stand and participate. It provides a memorable opening—and an opportunity to share stories from Ken's years of performing, including appearances at Chicago's Wrigley Field.

The Music Comes With a Story

Each program can incorporate a visual presentation introducing the music, composers, historical context, instruments and stories behind the selections.

Ken Rothacker has been performing professionally for decades, including hundreds of weddings, corporate,  and private events, as well as years of presenting solo guitar concerts throughout the Chicago metropolitan area.
